Welcome to the 2012 Track & Field season at Washougal High School. Please review the following reminders for the upcoming season.
· The first practice of the 2012 season will be Monday, February 27th at 2:45 p.m. We will meet in the small gym.
· Practice is every day after school starting at 2:45 and should be over around 4:45, depending on the workout for each event. Any day and every day that there is school, we will have practice. It is expected that all athletes are at every practice unless they have made arrangements with Coach Hajek prior to the beginning of practice.
· Prior to practicing with the team, each athlete must be cleared through the athletic office. This may be done in one of two ways: (1) complete and return the appropriate paperwork; or (2) if an athlete has been out for another sport during the school year, sign the sports transfer sheet.
· Athletes are required to bring workout clothes that include proper shoes, shorts, tops, and sweats. If an athlete has an issue with obtaining any of these articles of clothing, he or she can make arrangements with Coach Hajek to check some out from the school.
· The 2012 Parent/Player meeting with the track coaches will be Monday, February 27th at 5:00 p.m. in the Commons. The meeting will cover the Track & Field Handbook that must be signed by both the athlete and a parent for the athlete prior to the athlete's first meet.
· There are coupons and discounts for shoes and other track workout clothes provided by Fit Right NW and mm for all Washougal Track & Field participants and their families.

Their staff then recommend the type of footwear that are most beneficial to you! Students receive 10% discount on training footwear and 15% discount on training spikes.
